安装好Ubuntu 7.10之后，查看下帮助文件.
设置防火墙
您可以选择安装一个防火墙来保护您的计算机免受因特网上或是您的网络中的人们的非授权访问。防火墙能阻止从未知来源到您计算机的连接，这能帮助防止安全事故。
1. 安装 “Universe” 软件库中的 firestarter 软件包 (参见 添加应用程序)。
2.要想启动 Firestarter，请选择 系统 → 系统管理 → Firestarter，并在得到提示时输入您的管理员密码。
3.防火墙向导 应当会运行。如果没有运行的话，请按下 防火墙 → 运行向导。
4. 按照 防火墙向导 中的步骤执行。在完成所有这些步骤后，防火墙就应当被配置好并开始运行了。
5. 要想检查您的放火墙是否正常工作，您可以使用一些在线的防火墙测试服务如 ShieldsUP。

于是按帮助上的提示做了如下操作：

上面的Error是否有问题？只是依然进入防火墙设置。如下图：
后来又有提示：You should really not run firefox through sudo WITHOUT the -H option.
