半个月前因NVIDIA 8800GT的发布,NVIDIA向外透露即将发布其最新的NVIDIA Linux显示驱动程序.今天,NVIDIA 169.04 Beta for Linux正式发布了!
很多NVIDIA显卡的忠实用户会感到很吃惊,之前用惯的100.14系列驱动了,这次NVIDIA突然发力,直接发布169.04:100.14->169.04,这个版本号飞跃太大了!
让我们来看看这个NVIDIA 169.04 Beta for Linux版有什么更新：
加入GeForce 8800 GT的支持；
在Quadro/GeForce 8系列上改进modesetting支持；
改进GeForce 8系列显卡的稳定性问题；
改进一些GeForce 6200/7200/7300显卡的稳定性问题；
在一些Lenovo笔记本上改进热键切换支持；
修正在Compiz中VT切换出现的问题；
改进RENDER性能；
